NHS Bath and North East Somerset, Swindon and Wiltshire ICB, Independent Non-executive Director, Quality
We are looking to recruit an Independent Non-executive Director (NED) for Quality. This role offers a key position in the ICB, providing leadership to the ICB Board’s Quality and Outcomes Committee which provides advice and assurance on patient safety and the quality of services and supports the ICB to drive better outcomes and efficiencies and address health inequalities.
We are seeking a compassionate leader and advocate for the delivery of integrated person-centred high-quality care, with a focus on patient safety, particularly around prescribed areas of service redesign, clinical pathways and system reform.
A recognised clinical qualification is essential, as is experience of operating at senior or board level, independent and proactive leadership skills, the ability to champion open, frank and disciplined discussion and being prepared to ask difficult questions.
