Essex Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust, Chair

Essex Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust (EPUT) provides community health, mental health and learning disability services to support more than 3.2 million people living across Bedfordshire, Essex and Suffolk. We have also been running the COVID-19 vaccination programme across mid and south Essex and Suffolk and north east Essex. The Trust is a large employer in the East of England region, with more than 10,000 staff working across more than 200 sites. We also provide services in people’s homes and in community settings.

We are now seeking an innovative, transformational and passionate Chair who will continue our journey of improvement whilst building and maintaining strong and deep relationships.  With experience of leading a complex organisation, preferably during a period of change, our new Chair will politically astute, have a commitment to partnership working and co-production, and will set the tone for our organisation, acting as a role model for a culture which is inclusive and respectful.

We believe that the best boards are those that reflect the communities they serve and would particularly welcome applications from people from groups that are under-represented at Board level.
