We are looking for an outstanding leader to work with the Board in helping us reach and exceed the objectives set out in our ambitious 2023 to 2032 strategy and ensuring that we can deliver Outstanding Care to all our patients. You will need to have experience at Board level from an organisation of similar scale and complexity, ideally with some experience of health and care. Critically you will need a genuine commitment to the NHS; our patients, people and partners and want to be part of the promotion of excellent health care services for the people of Cornwall and beyond.
We are looking for someone who matches our ambition to provide Outstanding Care, but equally who is passionate about driving Outstanding Improvement. As our next Chair you will need to authentically demonstrate compassionate leadership every day and enjoy working visibly across our organisation and engaging across the local health and care system in Cornwall and across the South West of England as well as nationally. With very strong communication and interpersonal skills, you will be experienced in building and developing relationships and partnerships with a variety of stakeholders to get the best outcomes for our patients, people and population.
As our Chair you will role model our values every single day and be an ambassador for our organisation. We want to change, improve and modernise, recognising that with the development of Integrated Care Systems we are all having to work in new and different ways, and it will be vital to transform our services to help make our strategic goals a success. We want to focus our efforts on delivering the right services in the right locations, and as our Chair you will play a critical part in leading our Board along that journey and in working in partnership with our health and care system partners to support out ICB vision and strategy.
