NHS Derby and Derbyshire Integrated Care Board, Independent Non-Executive Member

NHS Derby and Derbyshire Integrated Care Board was established in 2022 with four overarching aims: to improve outcomes in population health and healthcare; to tackle inequalities in outcomes, experience and access; to enhance productivity and value for money; and to help the NHS support broader social and economic development.  We have an excellent track record in Derby and Derbyshire of successful collaboration during times of pressure on our health and care system, and we are well positioned with our Provider Collaboration, Place-based Partnerships and Primary Care Networks to continue to work together to support our vision.

We are now seeking to appoint a new Independent Non-Executive Member to join the Board of our ICB. We are ideally looking for someone with a finance qualification and relevant financial and commercial experience in a Board/senior level role in a large and complex organisation.  We will welcome candidates from all sectors; prior experience in the NHS or an understanding of NHS finance may be beneficial.

Our organisation needs diverse, inclusive and compassionate leaders who not only reflect the community they serve, and the staff employed, but who have the leadership style and breadth of perspective to make good collective decisions.  We are committed to increasing the diversity of NHS Boards and we are therefore really interested in receiving applications from people with different backgrounds, skills and experience.

For a confidential conversation, please contact our partners at Hunter Healthcare; James McLeod on 07842 424530 and jmcleod@hunter-healthcare.com or Sam Cresswell on 07562 650935 and scresswell@hunter-healthcare.co

Close date for applications: 23:59 on Sunday 6 October 2024.
