This service specification relates to the provision of the stereotactic radiosurgery (SRS), (delivered in a single treatment) or stereotactic radiotherapy (SRT) (delivered in 2 to 5 daily treatments) service. The specification covers the full range of Tier 1 and Tier 2 intracranial conditions as set out within NHS England clinical commissioning policy, including cerebral metastases, non-skull base meningiomas, pituitary tumours and skull base tumours including vestibular schwannoma and meningioma.
