GP registration resources
Summary
The Register with a GP surgery service is free to all practices and is designed and run by NHS England. The service gives all GP practices in England a standardised way of taking registrations online. It makes it simpler and more accessible for patients to register with a GP and easier for practices to manage registrations. It allows practices to take patient registrations online quickly and easily, automatically checks if patient is in the specified GP Practice catchment area, saves practices time spent matching patients to their NHS records and offers digital patient identity checks through NHS login.
Available assets in this campaign toolkit include:

- A4 posters – GP practice version for use at entrances, or reception area
- A4 poster – for use in other settings, i.e. Libraries, Pharmacies, Urgent Treatment Centres, Emergency Departments etc.

It is recommended that practices actively promote this service in order to allow potential patients to easily register.
